In Love with the Law of the Land

Over the summer, we launched a writing contest asking guests to recall their favorite memory at the French Alpine Bistro. Read one of the winning stories from the couple pictured above, who won a king-sized, luxurious French Alpine Bistro blanket. Click the button below to read their story and be sure to keep an eye out for future writing contests on our social media channels.

“The year was 2015, and marriage equality had become the law of the land. My wife and I were so excited about our upcoming nuptial weekend in Aspen! We went to the Pitkin County Clerk on the morning of September 3rd, and with much fanfare and congratulations from the clerks, we received our marriage license. What to do next? Celebrate at the Crêperie, of course! This is because, after many years of spending vacations in Aspen, the Crêperie has become our family’s official celebratory restaurant. Whether celebrating the sale of a house, a wedding, or time with loved ones and friends, French Alpine Bistro is always our favorite place to build memories.” – Betsy Orton
