For Loves Sake

by S.W. Kirch

Long-time loving isn’t mentioned in music very much. Imagine lyrics the likes of:  “When you’re stressed and sloppily dressed, I know you’re still the best!” Instead, we hear a lot about the two extremes.  Either the overture of love – the exciting, falling, exploring part of it, or the desperate, intense finale. In reality, though, most of the time spent in a committed, romantic relationship is during the middle portion, and it’s certainly not for the faint of heart.

Whoever you are, whomever you love, and whichever stage of your relationship you’re in: connecting, celebrating, or reaffirming, you’re welcome to do so over a gourmet Valentine’s Day lunch or dinner at the French Alpine Bistro – Crêperie du Village in Aspen, Colorado.

Designated by the Food Network as one of the “Top 5 Most Romantic Restaurants in America”, it’s the perfect place for tying the knot, dining after the wedding rehearsal, or raising a glass to toast your anniversary.

Ideally, we should all write our very own songs, composed of moments we’ve shared, laughed, cried and lived with the ones we’ve loved. For, in the words of Shakespeare, “If music be the food of love, play on!”
